How a real Kindred would handle data
This page is a policy sketch for the concept site. The demo does not collect accounts, payments, or health information.
Marketing site vs. care portal
Public pages ask only what is needed to start a match (who is joining, topic, method, schedule). Clinical history, diagnoses, and session notes would live in a HIPAA-ready portal with a Business Associate Agreement — not in a generic website form or ordinary email.
Shared vs. private rooms
Joint messages are visible to both partners and the therapist. Private threads are visible only to one partner and the therapist. That split is the product answer to Regain’s “can my partner read my messages?” FAQ.
What we would not do
- Sell session content
- Run advertising pixels on clinical pages
- Use Google Analytics on pages that describe symptoms
- Keep recordings without explicit consent
