Crisis support: call or text 988. Kindred is not emergency care.

The process

Therapy that fits a real week, not a clinic calendar.

Modeled on Regain’s three-step match, with the dual-room privacy and between-session pathways reviewers now expect from the best 2026 platforms.

01 · Match

A questionnaire that is short on purpose

Who is joining, what you want to work on, identities that matter, preferred method (Gottman, EFT, IBCT, integrative), language, and schedule. Clinical history lives later, inside a secure portal — not on a marketing form.

02 · See the person

Credentials before payment

You review a named therapist: license type, states, years, approaches, and a short video or written intro. Decline and we rematch. Accept and billing starts.

03 · Meet

Live + asynchronous, by design

One 45–50 minute video or phone session each week. Unlimited messaging in a shared room. Optional private thread. A 10-minute pathway after each session so the work does not evaporate by Thursday.

What a week looks like

Sunday — check-in

A two-question pulse: what felt better, what still stings. Your therapist reads it before the live hour.

Live session

Together from one couch, or from two cities. Individual add-on sessions if one of you needs a private hour.

Pathway

One skill. Not a homework packet. Speaker-listener, repair attempt, desire mapping, or a timeout plan.

Messages

Write when the fight is still warm. Therapists typically reply within one business day, often sooner.
